Level 3 は、アルファベットとフォニックスを身につけ、動詞の変化などの基礎が理解できるようになってきた生徒さん向けのクラスです。

このクラスでは、LOOK 3 と Our World 3 のテキストとワークブックを使用します。

Our World は National Geographic が出版している英語教材で、カラフルな写真を使ったテキストとともに、アプリで音声を聞きながらご家庭でも復習や予習を進めていくことができます。

その他にも Sounds of English のカードを使いながら、さまざまな単語に触れ、日本人にとって難しい発音や聞き取りの強化をしていきます。

文法の学習では、アメリカの小学校3年生レベルの文法にも取り組んでいきます。

グループレッスンのため、学期末には発表も行います。前に出て英語を話す経験を重ねることで、英語への不安を少しずつ減らし、自信につなげていきます。

私たちは、発表を完璧に行うことだけを目的にしているのではなく、子どもたちが人前で英語を話す機会を持ち、将来にもつながるプレゼンテーション力を育てていくことを大切にしています。

目標
英語をよりスムーズに読み進められるようになること、単語力・発音・聞き取りを強化すること、そしてアメリカの小学校3年生レベルの文法にも親しんでいくことが目標です。

English

Level 3 is designed for students who have already mastered the alphabet and phonics and are becoming comfortable with basic structures such as verb changes.

In this class, we use LOOK 3 and Our World 3 together with their workbooks.

Our World is a National Geographic English course featuring colorful photography, and students can also use the app at home to review and prepare lessons through audio support.

Students also use Sounds of English cards to practice a wide range of vocabulary while strengthening pronunciation and listening skills that are often difficult for Japanese learners.

In grammar study, students also work on grammar commonly taught in third grade in American elementary schools.

Because this is a group lesson, students also give presentations at the end of each term. Speaking in front of others helps children gradually overcome fear and build confidence.

Our goal is not simply perfect performance, but giving children opportunities to speak English in front of others and develop presentation skills that will benefit them in the future.

Goal: To improve reading fluency, strengthen vocabulary, pronunciation, and listening, and become familiar with grammar at the level of third grade in American elementary schools.
