Level 1 では、National Geographic が出版している LOOK 1 を使用します。

英語を始める園児のお子さまや、小学生低学年のお子さまにおすすめのクラスです。

宿題用のワークブックに加え、各学期ごとにプリント、劇の台本、ミニブック、歌などが入ったファイルをお渡しし、ファイルのスケジュールに沿って進めていきます。

Jolly Phonics Step 1〜7 でフォニックスを学びながら、単語を読む練習も行います。あわせて、アメリカの Kindergarten レベルの学習内容にも取り組みます。

目標
基本的な単語や表現を読み、聞き、少しずつ自分で使えるようになること、そして英語の音と文字のつながりをしっかり理解することが目標です。

Level 1 uses LOOK 1, published by National Geographic.

This class is recommended for kindergarten children and lower elementary students who are beginning their English journey.

In addition to a workbook for homework, students receive a file each term that includes worksheets, scripts for simple plays, mini-books, and songs. Lessons progress according to the file schedule.

Students study phonics through Jolly Phonics Steps 1 through 7 and practice reading words while also working on learning content at the American kindergarten level.

Goal: To help children read, hear, and gradually use basic English words and expressions with confidence, while building a strong understanding of the connection between letters and sounds.
