PRIVATE LESSON

Private lessons are offered to students as young as preschoolers all the way to adults. The lessons are designed to meet the needs of the students.

Preschool program is a three hours program for 2-3 years old (until the first grade in the kindergarten in Japan).

All NYC Students except a pay per time students are entitled to online lessons for no extra charge.

Preschool is a three hours program which is designed to meet the development stage of a toddler's fine motor skills and language.

ORANGE is for the students who have finished LIME, RED, YELLOW, BLUE, and GREEN. They are expected to be able to read a simple short story and comprehend it.

Green class is for the students who have finished LIME, RED, YELLOW, and BLUE. The students are expected to be able to read simple paragraphs.

Blue is for the students who have finished LIME, RED, and YELLOW or those who have mastered alphabets, basic phonics and ready to move onto more difficult grammar.

Yellow is for students who have finished both the LIME and the RED curriculums or those who have mastered both the alphabet and their phonics, as well as basic grammar.

IVAN FEDOROFF

HEAD TEACHER

IVAN sensei is a teacher from New York City. He has been teaching for nearly 20 years. He currently works as a math teacher in the middle school at international school in Tokyo. He leads and trains other teachers to meet the efficacy of the lessons.

AUSTIN FROESE

TEACHER

AUSTIN sensei is from Canada. He has an engineer degree so he is very good at math. His favorite thing to do is to play badminton and he loves to talk. He has moved to Japan in 2017 and is learning Japanese everyday. Austin sensei 's classes are fun and energetic. Also, his eiken classes are very popular. The students are learning to write and challenging themselves with more difficult materials.

JESSICA WAKAI

TEACHER

Jessica sensei is from Philippines and she speaks American English. She studied a lot of sciences like Biology in school. Jessica sensei has two children and she loves to teach kids. Her children go to Japanese school, but speak English fluently. She is also a guitarist and plays heavy metal music. Her classes are energetic and lively. Jessica sensei is also very kind and kids feel safe and home with her from the start.

ROBERT CLAY

MUSIC AND ENGLISH TEACHER

ROBERT sensei is known as Bobby sensei and he is from Hawaii. He has graduated with a music composition degree and he loves to play a piano. He also likes to build blocks and he has made a numerous number of lego sets for NYC. He can also play a drum, so some students like to take his private lesson to learn piano and percussion.
